SouthCoast Recovery is a full substance abuse and addiction treatment program that offers specialization in alcohol, cocaine, heroin, and meth addictions. Specific treatment approaches include group therapy, 12-step meetings, individual counseling sessions, detoxification services, and more.
Ongoing relapse prevention services are also available for all clients. Other specialized classes and workshops include anger management, goal setting, self-esteem boosting, life skills training, relationships, and others.
Clients are housed with peers in their age groups to encourage social interaction and healthy relationship development. Programs are available in terms of 30 to 90 days, depending on each individual’s needs. While four co-ed residential facilities are available, there are also two gender-specific housing units for those individuals who prefer to live in an all-female or all-male facility.
Special Interest: SouthCoast Recovery offers special programs for those clients who are referred through the judicial system. Alternative sentencing programs are available for clients who successfully complete the program under a court order.
Additionally, clients who wish to incorporate Christian ideals and beliefs into their treatment may choose the Christian track. This option incorporates the teachings of Christ into treatment, and acknowledges the Christian God as part of the 12-step recovery meetings.
