Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences offers specialized treatment for drug and alcohol dependency in the Atlanta area. Each individual program is gender-specific, and occurs within a gender-specific residential area. The programs are designed for long-term care in order to prevent relapse and encourage lifelong sobriety.

Peer support groups and individual therapy are provided as part of the program, as well as educational coursework and study groups to encourage lifelong learning. Standard programs last for 90 days, during which time clients live in apartments with peers of the same gender. The apartments are located a short distance from the administration building in which their program is housed.

In addition to addiction recovery, other services assist clients in improving self-esteem, learning life skills, find employment placement services, anger management skills, and many other specialized areas of recovery and healthy living.

Special Interest: Each program at Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences is specially designed and formatted for specific groups of individuals. Programs include the Women’s Recovery Center, Men’s Recovery Center, MARR-South men’s program, Right Side Up employment placement program, the Atlanta Recovering Professional program, and Family MARR family program.
