Detailed Provider Information
Treatment programs that focus on drug addiction, alcohol abuse, and other chemical dependencies and additions are available at Michael’s House. The standard program length is 60 days, while extended programs are available for those patients who require more long-term care. Family programs are available to ensure full understanding of the treatment program, and to help each family member readjust to life after the client has completed the program.
Each client receives an admissions evaluation that includes medical, psychological, and behavioral assessments. As a result of the evaluation, an individual program will be determined for each patient. Detox services are available for individuals with addictions to alcohol, prescription drugs, and other controlled substances such as cocaine, heroin, meth, and many others.
The facility is located at the base of Mount San Jacinto, and offers a calm, naturally beautifully retreat atmosphere. The program has beds available for 24 men ages 18 or over, and was founded about 20 years ago.
Special Interest: Michael’s House specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of co-occurring disorders. Dual diagnosis programs focus on the physical dependencies and addictions in combination with other existing psychological disorders such as depression, schizophrenia, and others.
