Passages Malibu specializes in alcohol & drug addiction treatment and detoxification programs for adults of all ages and backgrounds. One-on-one, individualized therapy is the cornerstone for the treatment program, where 80 percent of the patients’ treatment occurs as a licensed professional works individually with each patient in a confidential, comfortable setting. The treatment program is often tailored to individual needs, and the professional staff will take into consideration personal events in the patient’s life. The standard treatment program lasts for 30 days, during which time each patient will take part in at least 60 individual treatment sessions with a certified, trained specialists. Treatment for both drug and alcohol addictions are available.
The treatment facility offers several services in conjunction with the one-on-one treatments, including massages, hypnotherapy, physical fitness programs, and gourmet cooking services. Each patient receives a bedroom with a private bathroom. Patients are welcome to bring cellular phones, computers, music, books, and other personal items from home.
Special Interest: Passages Malibu offers psychotherapy for patients with mental disorders, as well as detox services. A 24-hour nurse is on-hand for those patients going through the detox program. Blood chemistry analyses are also available to determine if there are biological or physical reasons behind a patient’s dependency.
