Recovery First offers treatment services for those addicted to alcohol and other drugs through the use of counseling, group support, and various forms of therapeutic treatment. The intensive residential program lasts for 30 days, and includes 12-step meetings, individual counseling, and group therapy.
Residents at Recovery First are permitted to do their own grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning in an effort better mirror the realities of life and to prepare each client for independent living without the use of drugs and alcohol. Opportunities for recreation are available, and include fitness programs, trips to the beach, and other outings.
Intervention services are available for those families who may require it. Detoxification is also available in order to begin the program truly chemical free and without dependence.
Special Interest: Court liaisons are available to act on behalf of the client. Recovery First offers sentence alternatives, case management, court-ordered treatment management, and other court services for clients referred through the judicial system.
