Located in the mountains of Northern California, the Camp Recovery Center utilizes a 12-step recovery program while also implementing individual counseling, group therapy, art therapy, healthy recreational activities, and other options for therapy. The Camp Recovery Center specializes in treatment for addiction to alcohol, cocaine, meth, and prescription medications. Programs for both adults and teenagers are available, and each focuses on the unique challenges faced by these different groups of clients.
Ongoing aftercare is provided for all clients after the successful completion of the program. The Camp Recovery Center is designed much in the style of a camp setting, and includes recreational facilities on-site. The 25-acre property includes a large swimming pool, walking trails, basketball courts, tennis courts, and volleyball courts. In addition, special programming for adolescents is available.
Special Interest: For those clients whose needs warrant such a program, an online treatment and support program is available. Weekly Internet meetings are scheduled, and online group therapy is mediated and directed online by a licensed counselor. Either as a supplement to treatment or as an ongoing relapse prevention program, these online courses are available for both adults and teenagers under the Camp Recovery Center program.
